Welcome to the Second International Conference on "Medical
Electronics" and Exhibition on 19 & 20 February 2009
being organized by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of
Commerce and Industry) at Federation House, New Delhi, for
the second time in Asia.
This conference has come to be known as Meeting of Key persons
and Decision makers FROM Medical Electronics Fraternity. DSIR,
(Department of Scientific and Industrial Research) Ministry
of Science and Technology, is supporting this Conference
and Exhibition.
Mr Kapil Sibal, Hon'ble Minister for Science & Technology,
Govt. of India has kindly consented to inaugurate this
conference and exhibition.
The Conference Theme: "Opportunity
India the Innovators' Choice and World Destination".
Recent years, have seen technology breakthroughs and commercializations
have been achieved in India. Examples are Radiotherapy, Patient
Monitoring, Robotics Tele ECG and more. Advancements in Techs,
like robotics, tele imaging etc has come up. The Resulting
benefits of reduced hospitalization time, improved accuracy
and efficiency needs to be highlighted.
This International Conference, which is held once in Two
Years offers opportunities and insight into latest Cutting
Edge R&D and Breakthroughs.
It is worth mentioning that for the first time in Asia and
second time in the World, FICCI organized the International
Conference and Exhibition on "Medical Electronics - Advancements
on Products and Embedded Systems" web site http://www.meworld.biz/
in December 2006 with support from WHO and Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare.
